About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : RN

Specialty : ED / Trauma

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Mid midshift position with start times between 11am and 3pm

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum years of experience required, clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment.

License : Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact.

Certifications :

American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an approved equivalent.

American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Trauma Nurse course certification (TNCC).

American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Must-Have : Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Description :

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.

This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population.

The Staff RN job description incorporates essential functions adapted from the Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice.

All candidates must possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing; a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment are required.

Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Trauma Nursing are mandatory.
