Job Opening :

Personal Care Aide - must be certified PCA

Branch : Schenectady, NY

Job Location(s) :

clients available in Albany NY and surrounding suburbs!

Available Shifts :

Weekday daytime shifts - typically, you would spend 2-3 hours with each client, you may visit up to 4 clients per shift depending on how long your shift is. We would build you a caseload based on your availability. (Sometimes we have longer shift casework - but it's not the norm)

Hourly Rate : $18.10 / hour

Clients homes may have pets (we can ask the client to put the pet in a crate or another room during the visit).

Reliable vehicle & valid driver's license required - shopping and running errands for clients is part of the job.

Job Duties :

Your day might include : providing a safe way for clients to feel clean and refreshed (personal care); learning some new recipes and preparing meals; tidying their home to keep them healthy and being sure they follow their medication schedule. Requirements :

Must be a certified PCA

Will transition CNA to HHA with a free one-day class

Qualified nursing students can work for us as HHA's - ask us how!

If you have had at least 3 months of previous hands on caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class. Ask us how!

Must be caring, dependable, & must meet health requirements

Reliable vehicle & valid driver's license required - shopping and running errands for clients is part of the job.

Must be 18 or older
