Estimated Weekly Salary Weekly Salary Range : $1940 - $1990 Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Location : Pocatello, Idaho (ZIP 83201) – Idaho nursing jobs Facility Setting : Labor & Delivery Unit (10 labor rooms, 2 operating rooms, 3 triage beds) Job Type : Travel Registered Nurse contract Start Date : December 8, 2025 End Date : March 9, 2026 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Shift : Night shifts, 12 hours (16 : 45 - 05 : 15) Weekly Hours : 36 (option for 48 hours available) On-Call : Required as needed Float : No float required 100 Mile Radius Rule : Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Idaho or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Proficiency with electronic charting systems Strong computer and clinical documentation skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Team player, able to collaborate with nursing staff and physicians Experience in labor room setup, specimen handling, and lab coordination Open to first-time travel nurses Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to laboring mothers and newborns, including high-risk obstetric cases Assist with C-sections, vaginal deliveries, dilation & curettage, and triage of obstetrical patients Operate and maintain equipment such as suction, cautery, and defibrillator (DC) machines Perform sterile vaginal exams and uphold aseptic technique Set up labor rooms, handle specimens, and coordinate with laboratory and ancillary departments Collaborate with Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs), techs, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Participate in on-call rotation as required Discover the charm and natural beauty of Pocatello, Idaho, while making a positive impact on families as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse.
