Classroom Security Paraprofessional

Job Description

As a Paraprofessional with The Menta Group, you will work with classroom instructors and staff to provide targeted teaching and support to students, as well as general support for all students in the school.

Responsibilities

• Manage classroom behaviors
• Report behavioral concerns to appropriate staff
• Implement and maintain behavioral program policies and data
• Maintain classroom order and safety
• Supervise students inside the school setting
• Assist in preventing and managing incidents of non-compliance or escalation
• Monitor for potential safety or disruption issues, report and correct these conditions, and respond to emergencies
• Provide behavioral interventions to students
• Think quickly, independently, and tactfully
