Manufacturing Technician

We are looking to grow our Manufacturing Team at our Hurco headquarters in Indianapolis. As a Manufacturing Technician, you receive hands-on training on installing options and accessories for custom-configured CNC Machine Tools; and learn how to inspect, troubleshoot and repair machines.

Position Duties :

• Installs and tests machine options according verified procedures. Documents all mechanical defects and material discrepancies.
• Verifies and calibrates axis movement and ensures travel limits are correct according to specifications; makes adjustments when necessary.
• Verifies spindle drive runs at correct speed; adjust control and / or drive parameters if necessary.
• Verifies and records spindle retention force.
• Tests machine for specific functions to locate defects, measure performance and determine need for adjustments.
• Prepare machines for shipment, i.e. places machines on skids, wraps / covers machines with plastic / protective covering.

Requirements :
