Location : Harrisburg, PA 17101 (Pennsylvania travel nursing jobs)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Unit : Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) / Open Heart

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 15, 2026

Duration : 13-week travel nurse contract

Hours per Week : 40

Shift : Flexible 8-hour shifts (5x8 or 4x10 hour shifts preferred)

Call Requirement : Minimum of 7 days of call per month

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,330 - $2,500 per week

CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in Pennsylvania or compact state (Registered Nurse jobs in PA)

Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience (Cardiovascular OR experience)

Scrubbing experience as a CVOR RN preferred but not required

BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

CVOR RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Assist with open heart surgical procedures and support the multidisciplinary surgical team

Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes during cardiovascular procedures

Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments and care planning

Fulfill scheduled call requirements (minimum 7 days per month)

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold hospital safety standards
