The City of Plano's Economic Development Department is seeking a talented and visionary Senior Marketing and Design Specialist to elevate our brand and showcase Plano as a premier destination for business and investment. In this role, you will lead creative marketing initiatives from concept to completion, producing high-quality visuals, campaigns, and stories that resonate with businesses, community partners, and the public. The role is primarily focused on hands-on, in-house design work, complemented by managing external consultants and agencies as an extension of our team, and ensuring brand consistency and the highest standards of quality across all marketing initiatives.

We are looking for someone who combines a strong eye for design with strategic thinking and excellent storytelling skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves turning ideas into polished, professional marketing materials, and is passionate about economic development and community engagement. The target hiring salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on qualifications.

Hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM.
