Services we provide
Spectrum Child and Family Services supports our community’s children and teens who are delinquent, have been neglected / abused or abandoned, are medically fragile, have multiple handicaps, are dual-diagnosed, and are behaviorally and / or emotionally impaired. Our programs support a population with constantly changing needs, and our goal is to strengthen and empower the families so they become self-sufficient, stable, and competent.
What we offer
About the job : (Part-time, 25-30 hours a week)
The behavioral / case aide is responsible for on-site coordination of active treatment in a private setting such as school or residence, serving behaviorally challenged children who have been discharged from a psychiatric placement and / or are risk for psychiatric hospitalization; the child is stepping down from a residential placement into the community and requires a highly structured placement; or the child is under seven years of age and has experienced multiple foster home placements due to intensive mental health and behavioral needs and residential placement is the best alternative option . The aide works independently on assigned shifts. The aide will assist with case management through behavioral support services by providing parenting time supervision, mentoring, day respite, filing, calling providers, completing paperwork, and completing all other duties assigned.
