Insurance Verification Clerk
The Surgery Center at St. Francis in Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Insurance Verification Clerk to join our dynamic team. This full-time position will play a key role in ensuring that insurance information is accurately verified and processed for our patients across various specialties.
Responsibilities :
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients prior to their scheduled procedures
- Communicate effectively with insurance companies and patients to resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient check-in and billing processes
- Assist with any other clerical duties as required by the office
