Senior Vice President of Operations
Job Description
Client Summary :
- Procure to Pay service tailored for biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries
- Provides procurement, accounts payable, and administrative support
Position Responsibilities :
- Acts as a strategic partner on the leadership team working closely with others to ensure performance expectations are met.
- Coaches and develops the team across multiple functions to ensure delivery against key business metrics.
- Develops growth initiatives that align with the company’s overall strategy to meet company benchmarks and goals.
- Works collaboratively to develop and / or improve systems, processes, controls, and procedures that improve overall efficiency and productivity while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Evaluates results to determine if organizational objectives are being met.
- Focuses on client retention through service level agreements, product offerings and strategic partnerships.
- Works with the leadership team on organizational workforce planning to accommodate growth objectives.
- Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating functions of the company.
- Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
- Represents the company with clients, investors, and business partners.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Experience & Skills :
Required Experience and Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of management experience.
- Demonstrated strategic leadership experience.
- Solid understanding of supply chain management and strategic sourcing.
- P & L management experience.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications :
Experience working in bio tech or life sciences industry. - nice to have
Compensation $250k-$275k
