Vice President of Product Engineering

As the Vice President of Product Engineering, you will oversee a dynamic global team of over 50 software engineers and managers within our Technology department.

Your leadership will be pivotal in developing innovative solutions that facilitate provider search, rate calculation , care alerts, and provider network assessments.

Leading both the platform and service engineering teams , you will collaborate closely with the Product team to spearhead a product-led modernization strategy and Powered -By API strategy , and significantly enhancing client experiences.

Engineering Strategy and Execution :

Partner with leadership to define and execute the technical and product roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Spearhead technical initiatives, exploring new technologies to advance our platform.

Commit to architectural excellence and robust design principles, enhancing the scalability and reliability of our solutions .

Operational Excellence :

Create an optimal engineering environment, setting technical standards and fostering interdepartmental collaboration.

Serve as a strategic advisor, enhancing the organization's technological utilization .

Implement strategies to achieve engineering excellence, tracking key metrics to improve efficiency and satisfaction.

Ensure technical and operational rigor within the team, leading by example in managing global, diverse teams effectively.

Requirements

10 + years of proficiency in data and Product Engineering, with a commendable track record of 5+ years dedicated to engineering management, encompassing managerial oversight of other managers.

Bachelors degree in a related field required , Master's degree preferred

Proficient in technologies aligned with our product stack : Ruby on Rails, C#, Angular, JavaScript, AWS, and advanced caching and persistence technologies.

Demonstrated success in managing remote teams across various time zones, fostering a diverse and product-oriented engineering culture.

Experienced in leading technical migrations and advocating for positive cultural and technological shifts within an organization.
