Full-Time Locum Otolaryngologist (ENT)

Des Moines, IA | Inpatient + Clinic | $223 / Hour | Call Coverage | Teaching Opportunity

Start Date : Upon credentialing

Setting : Inpatient + Outpatient (Clinic + OR)

Schedule : Full-time | 36 patient contact hours / week

Clinic Hours : Monday-Friday, 7 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Call : Participation in hospital ENT call schedule

Position Overview

A well-respected health system in Central Iowa is seeking a Board Certified Otolaryngologist for a full-time locum-to-perm opportunity . This position includes a blend of inpatient and clinic-based coverage , with a consistent weekday schedule, full ENT procedural scope, and a collaborative team environment. A teaching component is also available for those with an academic interest.

• Clinic Location : Clive, IA
• Inpatient Coverage : Main medical center in Des Moines
• Clinic Volume : 30+ patients / day
• Exam Rooms per Provider : 2-3
• Appointment Length : 15 minutes
• Support : 1 : 1 physician-to-nurse ratio + ancillary staff
• Procedures : Comprehensive ENT services
• Onsite Services : Lab, imaging, and pharmacy
• Patient Population : Central Iowa, including Boone County, Indianola, Pleasant Hill
• EMR : EPIC
• Teaching Opportunity : Yes

Candidate Requirements

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate : $223.00

⏱ Overtime Rate : $335.00 / hour

24-Hour On Call : $1,624.00

Call Back : $335.00 / hour

Malpractice Insurance : Included

Travel & Lodging : Covered

Licensing & Credentialing Reimbursement : Provided
