Summary of Essential Job Functions
Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory dutiesTake and process dental radiographs (x-rays)Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipmentTake impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulseHelp patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatmentProvide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment proceduresAt a Glance
Certifications Required : CDA or RDA.Additional Certifications : X-ray certification, Sealant polishing & Nitrous Certification is a plus.Experience : No previous experience required but must have Dental Assistant certificationJob Type : Full-timeCompensation and Schedule
Salary : Starting at $16.00 depending on certifications. Additional increases for experienceBonus Pay : up to $600 additional per monthSchedule : On-site. Monday-FridayBenefits That Support You Personally and Professionally
