Electronic Assembler

Johnson Service Group an award-winning staffing company, is looking for an Electronic Assembler with 4-5 years’ experience working in a PCB or Power Supply Manufacturing environment. This is a Temp-Direct hire job in Camarillo, CA.

Pay Rate : $28.00 HR

Hours are 6 : 00am – 2 : 30pm.  We are currently offering a limited amount of overtime, including hours on Saturday

Summary / Objective

Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs), modules, power supplies, and cable harnesses while meeting quality, safety, and production standards.

Essential Functions

Read and interpret assembly instructions, parts lists, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Solder electronic components to PCBs in accordance with IPC J-STD-001 standards, including microscope-assisted soldering.

Select and install electronic components into subassemblies and final assemblies.

Assemble electromechanical chassis, modules, subassemblies, and wiring using hand tools, torque drivers, and soldering equipment.

Perform rework and repairs to correct assembly defects.

Clean assemblies and components to meet quality requirements.

Measure and verify dimensions and clearances using calipers and micrometers.

Follow work instructions and review tasks with supervisors to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Perform additional manufacturing tasks such as press-fit hardware installation, conformal coating, encapsulation, epoxy / RTV application, silk-screening, magnetics winding, and final packaging.

Complete work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.

Provide hands-on training and support to coworkers as needed.

Report quality, process, equipment, or material issues to the Production Supervisor.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to read and understand technical documents written in English.

Knowledge of electronic components, including resistor color codes and component polarity.

3+ years of experience in a related assembly or electronics manufacturing role (preferred).

3+ years of soldering experience.

IPC J-STD-001 certification preferred.
