The Building Automation Specialist is responsible for servicing existing control systems, fulfilling contractual obligations under service agreements, and installing and commissioning small service projects. You will join an existing team of Service Technicians but will work independently most of the time.

What you'll do :
Perform maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests including equipment replacement and modifications as neededDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, control, and software issuesUpgrade control system software and graphicsEnforce safety standards and maintain asset security and accountabilityManage documentation and reports regularlyTravel to service sites and coordinate with the Service Manager regarding schedules and customer communicationOther duties as assignedRequired skills, knowledge, and abilities :
High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferredAt least 2 years' experience with HVAC controls systems installation or maintenanceExperience with ABB drives, Alerton Envision / Compass, Niagara Tridium, Distech, Critical Room Control, Siemens systemsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft OfficePhysical Demands :
Ability to work in diverse environments including heights, confined spaces, and various weather conditionsVision abilities : close, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustmentAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
