Account Manager

Title : Account Manager
Location : You can be based in either West Virginia, Virginia, Louisiana, Alabama, Ohio, or North Carolina. Must be comfortable with circa 30% travel.
Likely travel will be into Virginias but this may vary.
Company Overview : A leading supplier of material handling equipment and Integrator of automation solutions with multiple locations across the US.
Responsibilities :
- Manage numerous accounts simultaneously while developing and maintaining effective relations with both high-level management and operations personnel alike.
- Collaborate with engineering and estimating teams to generate creative customized solutions to prospects.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
- Deliver technical presentations and demonstrate how their solutions meet client needs.
- Respond to technical questions and concerns from clients.
Requirements :
- Business Degree in Engineering or related field or 10 years of demonstrated experience in a related capacity.
- 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering role, preferably in the automation industry.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and industrial automation technologies, controls & software.
- Proven experience in strategic account management.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
