As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Chase Travel youare an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance build and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. As a core technical contributor you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design development and deployment of travel technology solutions Angular React AWS and Docker.
• Architect and implement scalable secure and maintainable full stack applications integrating backend services with modern responsive front-end interfaces.
• Drive cloud adoption and migration strategies leveraging AWS services and cloud-native patterns.
• Collaborate with product owners business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions tailored for the travel industry.
• Mentor and guide a team of software engineers fostering a culture of technical excellence innovation and continuous improvement.
• Conduct code reviews enforce coding standards and champion best practices in software engineering.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends especially those relevant to travel and hospitality.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality software within project timelines and budget constraints.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning estimation and retrospectives.
