Houston Nursing Job Details Location : Houston, TX 77054 (Texas Medical Center) Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : December 8, 2025 End Date : March 9, 2026 Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Pay : $1610 - $1730 Setting : 35-bed Labor & Delivery Unit, 13-bed Maternal Assessment Center Dress Code : Royal Blue Scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification Strong clinical skills in laboring patient care, antepartum, and PACU recovery Preferred : OR Circulation experience for Cesarean Sections, placement of FSE and IUPC L&D RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients Monitor and interpret electronic fetal monitoring for maternal and fetal safety Assist with vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, and PACU recovery Administer medications including Pitocin, cervical ripening agents, magnesium sulfate, and antihypertensive therapies Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team : anesthesia, neonatal, laborist, and hospitalist services Document patient care accurately using CPN (Centricity) and Meditech EMR systems Maintain a safe, supportive, and family-centered environment for patients Why Choose Houston, TX for Your Travel Nursing Assignment?
