Make an impact where it matters.
At ComSonics, we have an opportunity with our Public Safety Group for a detail-oriented, people-focused professional to keep operations running smoothly and customers well supported. If you enjoy variety, thrive in a role where no two days look the same, and want to build a meaningful career with an employee-owned company, this might be the place for you!
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be a central point of connection for our Public Safety customers and internal team. Your days may include answering and routing calls, preparing and tracking quotes, entering orders in our ERP, scheduling jobs with customers and team members, managing licensing renewals, and coordinating shipments. You'll help set up new customer accounts, maintain accurate records of interactions, and ensure service requests get to the right hands quickly.
You'll also support trade shows-sometimes from behind the scenes and occasionally onsite and assist with reports, and administrative tasks that keep the department running smoothly. Along the way, you'll obtain and maintain certification for Genetec mobile and fixed License Plate Reader systems, adding a valuable skill to your toolkit.
What You Bring
An associate degree is preferred, though equivalent experience is welcome. If you've worked in customer service, inside sales support, or administrative operations, especially with public-facing departments, you'll feel right at home. Strong communication, organization, and follow-through are essential.
Why Work Here
Joining us means becoming part of an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) organization. You're not just contributing to the company-you're building long-term personal value as an employee-owner. We also recognize that people's needs vary, so our benefits package is built with flexibility in mind. You can tailor coverage and options to fit your life, and your priorities. Pair that with a culture that values respect, teamwork, and growth, and you'll find a workplace where you can truly thrive.
If you're ready for a role that blends customer interaction, problem-solving, administrative work, and the chance to support public safety efforts, we'd love to hear from you.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
