The City of Phoenix Mayor's Office is seeking a highly organized, discreet, and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Mayor in advancing key initiatives and serving the community. Requirements

  • Interest in public service and care for the people of Phoenix
  • Strong initiative and work ethic
  • Excellent judgment and integrity; handles sensitive information with discretion
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, pivot quickly, and manage stressful situations
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as necessary
  • Professional etiquette and ability to work well with a diverse team

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage the mayor’s calendar, day-to-day logistics, and travel arrangements
  • Process meeting and event requests; lead weekly meetings to ensure thoughtful consideration of all requests and invitations
  • Work closely with all members of the Mayor’s Office to ensure seamless staffing and transition between events
  • Compile the mayor’s daily book with meeting and event materials in coordination with office staff
  • Assist with projects and event planning as necessary
  • Salary and Benefits

  • Salary range of $80,000 - $95,000
  • Competitive and comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Tuition reimbursement program up to $6,500 per year
