Arizona - Certified General Appraiser
Consultant Engineering, Inc. (CEI) has been providing LPAs and departments of transportation (DOT) with consulting services for more than 24 years as well as being designated a licensed brokerage for 18+ years.

We are hiring an on call - as needed Certified General Appraiser.
Job Summary :
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate core competencies in the following areas :
Preparation of appraisal reports for property and interests in property subject to the eminent domain laws of the State of Arizona;
the Federal Uniform Relocation and Real Property Assistance Act, as amended, and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
- Preparation of Appraisal reports for public entities / private clients.
- Perform appraisal reviews.
- Expert level research and analysis.
- Competence in full and partial acquisitions in residential, commercial and agricultural.
Job Requirements
Qualifications :
The successful candidate will possess the following required degrees, certificates or competencies :
- Arizona Certified General Appraiser license, with a minimum of three years’ experience actively appraising properties and developing all three approaches to value (Cost, Income and Comparable Sales).
- Experience appraising properties for public entities preferred.
- Real Estate License and / or education are also a plus.
- Eminent domain appraisal experience required.
- Expert witness testimony highly preferred.
- MAI or MAI candidate, preferred.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands / Environmental Conditions
Must be able to work in an office setting as well as work outdoors in a real estate project environment. Skilled in office equipment, motor vehicles, able to hike / walk in varied outdoor terrain as work requires.
Work amidst interruptions, time constraints, high work volumes, multiple tasks, team or solo activities, concise decision making and interaction with government or public entity officials.
Ethical behavior and professionalism. May lift / carry / push and / or pull 25 pounds.
