Senior Manager, Product Strategy - Roasted
La Colombe is hiring a strategic leader to own the roasted coffee product portfolio. This role will lead innovation, performance tracking, and cross-channel alignment for roasted formats, ensuring La Colombe's offerings remain best-in-class across retail, caf, and e-commerce.
Responsibilities
Portfolio Ownership & Strategic Leadership :
- Lead comprehensive strategy and execution for the entire roasted coffee product portfolio, including packaging updates, product evolution, and sales support
- Drive long-term portfolio roadmap aligned with company growth objectives and market opportunities
- Manage product lifecycle from development through discontinuation
Innovation & Product Development :
Develop and manage a robust innovation pipeline for roasted formats, from consumer insight generation through concept development to full-scale launchLead cross-functional innovation teams to identify white space opportunities and bring differentiated products to marketEstablish innovation frameworks and stage-gate processes to ensure disciplined product developmentChannel Strategy & Go-to-Market Excellence :
Ensure strategic alignment across all channels (retail, caf, e-commerce) for product launches, pricing, and positioningPartner with business unit leads to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategiesCreate clear, concise, and compelling product positioning and messaging tailored to specific customer segments and channelsPricing Strategy :
Own and develop cohesive pricing architecture across all channels, balancing profitability targets with competitive positioningConduct regular pricing analyses and recommend strategic adjustments based on market dynamicsPerformance Management & Analytics :
Track and analyze product performance using advanced analytics, translating insights into actionable strategies that drive growthEstablish and monitor KPIs across the portfolio, using data to optimize product mix and inform future developmentPresent regular business reviews to senior leadership with strategic recommendationsCross-Functional Leadership :
Partner with R&D, marketing, sales, operations, and supply chain to ensure seamless product commercializationLead cross-functional teams through complex product launches and initiativesBuild strong relationships across the organization to drive alignment and execution excellenceSales Enablement :
Develop comprehensive sales tools and resources including sales decks, training materials, competitive intelligence, and product educationPartner with sales leadership to ensure field teams are equipped to effectively sell and position productsConduct regular training sessions and create ongoing enablement contentCustomer & Market Intelligence :
Build and foster relationships with key customers to enhance product offerings and inform roadmap developmentStay current on competitive landscape, consumer trends, and category dynamicsServe as the voice of the customer within the organizationRequirements
7-10 years of progressive experience in product strategy, brand management, or product management, preferably in CPG or caf / foodservice sectorsDeep understanding of coffee or beverage categories, including product development and consumer behaviorProven track record of successfully leading product portfolios and driving measurable business resultsStrong analytical capabilities with experience using data to drive strategic decisionsExcellent project management skills with ability to lead multiple complex initiatives simultaneouslyOutstanding communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior leadershipDemonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
