As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing next-gen products and features that promote crypto adoption. You'll tackle unique, large-scale technical challenges that merge the complexities of web-scale applications with blockchain technology. Your contributions will help build systems that make cryptocurrency easily accessible to a global audience, powering real-time applications with high-frequency, low-latency updates while managing the most secure cloud infrastructure.

The Growth organization is pivotal in realizing Coinbase’s mission of bringing the world onchain. By creating and enhancing growth tools that include referral programs, robust notification systems, engaging logged-out web experiences, and optimizing the user onboarding flow, we aim to ensure that Coinbase is the most user-friendly and secure platform to buy, hold, and trade crypto assets.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the Head of Growth Engineering, engineering managers, and product managers to enhance our incentives infrastructure and scale our expenditures with reliability and confidence.
• Develop foundational systems and primitives that will drive growth at Coinbase.
