General Manager

Our client is a leading manufacturer and marketer of print and paper based packaging solutions and seeking a results‑driven General Manager to lead a prominent manufacturing division in Chicago, overseeing two facilities. You will report directly to the President and be responsible for full P&L oversight, operations, sales, and team leadership. You will drive profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction while fostering a high‑performance culture of collaboration and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership in a manufacturing environment, ideally in printing or paper converting, with experience managing cross‑functional teams in sales, production, and finance. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budget management, process improvements, talent development, and building strong client and vendor relationships.

Candidates should have 10+ years of senior management experience, a hands‑on operational approach, and strong financial acumen. 5+ years of direct work experience in sales management. Demonstrated success in growing revenue and improving profitability.
