POSITION OVERVIEW :
The Director, Accounting leads the accounting operations for FedEx Freight, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information across the enterprise. This role oversees general ledger, accounts payable, and close processes while driving automation, efficiency, and compliance across the accounting function
Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, the Director provides leadership and oversight for day-to-day accounting operations, ensures alignment with the broader Finance organization, and supports initiatives related to system integration, internal controls, and future-state readiness
