The Analysis Engineer is focused on performance necessary to assess requirements compliance and allocation. This role will apply digital analysis support to optimize design and prototyping, assess concept performance, and reduce risk in physical testing.
Responsibilities :
- Support system and subsystem requirements development and allocation.
- Support system level trade studies and analysis to determine a balanced system design.
- Provide analytical support to HIL / SIL simulations.
- Support and adhere to all company safety and environmental regulations & policies.
- Undertake other duties as determined by the MS&A manager.
Qualifications :
- BSc Engineering required (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Aerospace, Automotive); MSc Engineering desired (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Computer, Management)
- 5-10 years’ experience Modeling, Simulation & Analysis.
- Experience with multiple engineering analysis domains (mobility, lethality, survivability, structures, cooling, shock, and vibration)
- Experience with 3D Analysis (Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Multi-Body Dynamics (MBS), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Thermal)
- Experience with 1-D Simulation (GT-Suite, MATLAB / Simulink, Amesim)
- Shock and Vibration Analysis (MIL-SD-810)
- Experience of working in a multi-national, multi-organizational and corporate environment.
- Familiarity with the US DoD ground vehicle requirements.
- Practical hands on’ attitude with the ability to operate independently.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in a variety of settings and be able to assimilate complex instructions easily.
- Must demonstrate an enthusiasm to engage with and support overseas colleagues.
- Has the ability to obtain US Defense clearance up to SECRET.
