Overview :
We’re currently searching for an MLP Body Systems Engineer – IP / Console to join our team and play a key role in advancing OEMs’ next-generation EV interiors. This role focuses on the design, engineering, and validation of instrument panels and console systems, supporting development through all phases from concept to launch. Responsibilities include supplier coordination, DV / PV testing, issue resolution, and ensuring alignment with quality processes such as DFMEA, PFMEA, and control plans.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer with 8+ years of expertise in IP / Console system development , proficiency in Catia , and a strong understanding of automotive quality standards. Highly detail-oriented, resourceful, and collaborative, this individual will thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety, durability, and premium user experience in interior systems.

Role and Responsibilities
Lead engineering support for Instrument Panel and Console systems across all development phases.Ensure proper upload and management of CAD data in OEMs systems.Coordinate supplier activities to support part updates, tooling timing, and manufacturing feasibility.Drive issue resolution during DV / PV testing and pre-production / production builds.Obtain B-Release for IP / Console parts and ensure compliance with engineering / design / safety requirements.Support on-site builds at OEMs facilities and supplier builds.Ensure adherence to DFMEA, PFMEA, and Control Plans for quality assurance.Preferred experience and skills
8+ years’ experience in engineering Instrument Panel / Console systems across all development phasesProficiency with Catia (pulling in and cutting sections in data)Strong understanding of IP / Console system requirementsExperience in DV / PV testing for IP / ConsoleAbility to deliver fast resolution of open issuesKnowledge of OEMs systems (explicitly noted as a plus)Strong grasp of quality processes (DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans)Proficient in English (reading, speaking, and writing)Ability to take direction from OEMs Engineering to modify components for engineering / design / safety needs
