Intermediate Interior Designer (New York)

Role Overview

The Intermediate Interior Designer will collaborate with principle designer and design team to develop and execute design concepts from schematic design through project completion. This role requires strong design sensibility, technical proficiency, and project coordination skills. Youll play a key part in preparing design documentation, liaising with clients, and ensuring projects meet both aesthetic and functional goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing design concepts, space plans, and material palettes.
• Prepare detailed drawings and presentation materials.
• Create and edit construction documents, specifications, and schedules.
• Research and source finishes, furnishings, lighting, and fixtures.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
• Support project management tasks, including timelines, budgets, and procurement.
