Position Summary
The Nurse is a key member of our clinical care team, responsible for supporting physicians during in-office procedures as well as in a surgical setting, assisting with patient care management, and helping coordinate the overall flow of clinical operations. This role focuses on patient education, procedure preparation, follow-up care, and ensuring patients have a safe and positive experience throughout their treatment journey. The position may also require infrequent travel to our satellite clinic as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment & Care Coordination
- Conduct patient assessments, gather medical histories, and review medications as part of care planning.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, treatment expectations, recovery plans, and follow-up needs.
- Provide ongoing communication with patients regarding symptom monitoring, home care, and medication adherence.
- Ensure clinical orders, imaging, and diagnostics are completed in a timely manner.
Clinical Operations Support
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for orthopedic procedures performed in the clinic.Direct work with physician in surgical setting assisting with procedures and patient care.Support imaging-guided procedures by positioning patients, monitoring comfort, and preparing sterile fields as needed.Follow sterile techniques and uphold safety protocols at all times.Assist with pre-procedure diagnostics such as X-rays, lab work, or other required testing.Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient encounters, procedures, and care notes.Help manage clinic flow to ensure patients are roomed, prepared, and supported throughout their visit.Assist with patient triage, follow-up calls, and coordination of next steps in the care plan.Reinforce home care instructions, mobility guidance, and physical therapy recommendations.Travel to satellite clinic locations on an infrequent, as-needed basis to support patient care and clinic operations.Team Collaboration
Work closely with physicians, Radiologic Technologists, Medical Assistants, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.Participate in team meetings, quality initiatives, and process improvements.Support a positive, collaborative, solution-oriented clinic culture.Qualifications
Current LPN or RN license in Wyoming.Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience (orthopedics or procedural setting preferred).Exemplarily patient interaction and care abilities.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and compassion.Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.Solid understanding of sterile technique and patient safety protocols.What We Offer
