Mainframe System Programmer

A company is looking for a Mainframe System Programmer / Hardware Configuration.

Key Responsibilities

Configure mainframe hardware equipment and support client migrations

Document hardware and LPAR cabling with associated IPs

Interface with network and hardware teams to ensure proper installation and functionality

Required Qualifications

3 years of experience in a z / OS environment supporting mainframe hardware

Experience with HCD and IOCP for zOS, zVM, and zVSE

Familiarity with Z Series HMC and support element

Understanding of network connectivity requirements for mainframe systems

Ability to mentor and train junior team members
