EXAMPLE OF DUTIES : Develop and implement healthcare quality programs and value-based care initiatives with the goal to improve processes, patient outcomes, cost containment, and overall healthcare delivery. Develop and recommend program objectives, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements. Represent the Division at stakeholder meetings, promoting integrity, credibility and transparency through professional preparation, collaboration, and quality presentation of information and data tailored to the needs of the audience. Provide oversight and direction to staff; hire, train, evaluate, and manage performance of staff. Establish plans for project evaluation and monitoring. Assist stakeholders with defining data needs and data collection. Participate in the preparation and submission of applications, progress reports, outcome measures, and any additional data to federal partners and other stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : You must possess all the minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position. Some knowledge of management practices as well as experience providing technical proficiency, problem-solving, communication, and program area training. Typically gained by at least one-year experience managing a major Program and providing leadership of professional staff. Candidates may also qualify through completing upper-division college-level management coursework along with experience in a significant Leadership role. Below is preferred experience. It is not required for the position but applicants with this experience may receive consideration over other applicants. Good knowledge of healthcare quality, reimbursement methodologies, and managed care delivery systems. Typically gained by at least three (3) years of senior level management experience related to health care coverage in a public or private organization. A bachelor's or master's degree in public health, business, healthcare administration, health education, health sciences, or related field is preferred. Considerable knowledge health and human service programs. Typically gained by at least three (3) years of professional experience developing, evaluating, supporting, and / or administering health and human service programs
