Are you a passionate B2B sales professional seeking a fulfilling role in the waste management industry? Join Waste Away as an Outside Sales Representative and make a significant impact by selling commercial waste removal, disposal, and recycling services.
Your Responsibilities :
Drive sales of our commercial waste management , trash removal , and disposal services to diverse business and industrial clients.
Take charge of the complete sales process : from lead generation and proposal development to closing deals and providing post-sale support.
Use Salesforce CRM (ARES) for effective tracking of leads, account management, and maintaining vital customer information.
Engage with potential clients through in-person cold calls and networking to expand our B2B client base in your defined territory.
Spend 60-70% of your time in the field, prospecting and strengthening relationships through site visits.
Act as the main contact for your client portfolio , focusing on customer retention and satisfaction.
Identify contract expiration dates and customer challenges, collaborating across teams to address service issues.
Promote additional services, such as recycling , special waste handling , or sustainability solutions .
Renew contracts, negotiate competitive pricing, and optimize account profitability.
Participate in community events, trade shows, and chamber of commerce activities to boost brand awareness.
Assess client waste streams to discover recycling initiatives or special disposal needs.
Carry out any other duties as necessary.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales , B2B sales , or territory sales is essential.
Experience in waste management , environmental services , logistics , or industrial services is a plus.
Proficiency in CRM software, particularly Salesforce .
Excellent communication, negotiation, and territory management skills are crucial.
Self-driven with the ability to operate independently.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
