Company Description

We are a rapidly growing Mental Health Practitioner's office. We provide medication management, as well as therapy to the Tri-Cities area and beyond. We specialize in seeing children ages starting at age six, as well as adults. We are seeking to add another PMHNP to our practice to grow with us. The position will start as part time and a case load will be built up through the duration of employment. We are looking to fill this position quickly and are excited to meet with new prospective providers.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner located in Kingsport, TN. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing mental health care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. The role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals, offering psychiatric care, and supporting patients with their mental health needs. The practitioner will also engage in patient education and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Mental Health Nursing and Psychiatric Care skills
• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• Mental Health Care knowledge and experience
• Nursing skills, with a focus on psychiatric care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Valid DEA
