Senior Contract Specialist

OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition / Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties :

We currently have an opening for a Senior Contract Specialist with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the field of contracting and procurement. The experience can be either as a federal government employee, a member of the U.S. military, or as a contractor supporting a federal agency. We are looking for candidates to handle actions related to pre-and post-award contract work in support of contracting officers; and other duties as assigned. This position may be short-term in duration and may end NLT March 28, 2026.

Requirements :

Qualifications and Skills :

No less than ten (10) years of experience in the Federal contracting and procurement FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT with a bachelor's degree and possess a FAC-C II or DAWIA certification or equivalent.

Must have in-depth knowledge of and experience with Federal Contracting, such as FAR and other regulations.

Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance.

Salary : $115,000-125,000 based on experience, education, etc.
