A software start-up, on a mission to reduce carbon emissions caused by supply chain transportation, is seeking a Billing Specialist to add to their growing team.

About the Role

We are looking for a Billing Specialist who will be comfortable overseeing and analyzing operation financials, and owning the entire accounts receivable processes.

As a Billing Specialist, you will contribute problem-solving ideas to support the overall company growth strategy while working in a culture-first organization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full-cycle billing reconciliation process as a Billing Specialist
• Direct interaction with our customers and vendors
• Ownership of our current policies and procedures for the operations billing process
• Weekly and ad hoc reporting requests by management
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Proven experience as a Billing Specialist, invoicing, or financial analysis
• Proven experience in Accounts Receivables
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and billing software / systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• SaaS and NetSuite experience, trucking / transportation background, preferred
