Upper School Mathematics Teacher
Oakcrest School, an independent school for girls in grades 6-12 guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church, located in Vienna, Virginia, seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher committed to and supportive of the mission of Oakcrest and the spirituality of Opus Dei to join our Mathematics Department.

As a result, students develop the habits of perseverance, resourcefulness, and logical thought.
Qualified applicants should meet the following criteria :
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or post-graduate certification preferred;
- Ability to teach four sections of high school level math courses;
- Minimum of three to five years of upper school teaching experience;
- Excellent communication skills and an understanding of the developmental needs of adolescent girls;
- Experience with and desire to work collaboratively;
- Background or experience in the liberal arts;
- Commitment to excellent teaching and to continued professional development;
- Desire to involve oneself with the school and communicate effectively beyond the classroom.
