About the Role

We are seeking an In-Field Account Manager to oversee two major customer accounts, ensuring consistent service excellence, merchandising compliance, and client satisfaction through regular on-site visits and relationship management.
This role is ideal for a self-motivated, service-driven professional who thrives in the field, enjoys partnering directly with customers, and takes pride in maintaining high operational standards across multiple locations.
Compensation : $55,000 annually + company vehicle program + full benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for two major customer accounts in Bloomington and Columbus.
- Conduct weekly site visits to evaluate service quality, product presentation, and merchandising compliance.
- Review and ensure accurate execution of planograms, pricing, promotions, and market standards.
- Meet regularly with clients to review performance, identify needs, and elevate the customer experience.
- Perform light hands-on tasks such as stocking, rotating products, or cleaning to support merchandisers as needed.
- Deliver weekly updates to the VPRO regarding account performance, opportunities for improvement, and corrective actions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by demonstrating professionalism, responsiveness, and service excellence.
- Partner with retail teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement across assigned locations.

Experience in account management, field operations, customer service, or related roles preferred.Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.Ability to travel weekly between Bloomington and Columbus.Valid driver's license required.Ability to perform light physical tasks such as stocking or merchandising when necessary.Why Join Five Star?
