Hybrid Accounting Manager

This will be a hybrid position in the Phoenix, Arizona office.
What you will do to contribute to the company's success :
- Provides quality coaching, leadership and direction to a high performing accounting team. Cultivates, pursues, and promotes a culture of continued excellence through individual and team growth.
- Ensures compliance with corporate accounting policies, U.S. GAAP and ASC 606
- Manages accounting processes, including journal entry preparation and approval, account reconciliations and month-end close procedures
- Partners with Marketing and Billing Operations with respect to product launches, billing system changes and other strategic initiatives.
- Supports assigned internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance
- Leads assigned revenue standardization and integration projects
- Ensures internal controls are designed and operating effectively, identifies deficiencies, develops corrective action plans and continues monitoring for timely remediation and closure.
- Analyze business changes for implications to revenue and documents findings. Research technical accounting guidance and prepares technical accounting memos as needed.
- Performs financial statement analysis and review. Researches and resolves issues which are identified during review.

Education & Work Experience :
Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college with primary study in Accounting, Finance, or Business7+ years progressive experience within public company environment2+ years proven record of multiple direct reporting relationshipsLicenses & Certifications :
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) preferredQualifications :
Superb attention to detail and strong planning and organization skills with concern for quality and deadlinesAdvanced skills in Microsoft ExcelAbility to analyze and interpret large datasets to determine trendsStrong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required. Experience with ASC 606 is preferredInternal control and SOX compliance experience requiredMust be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to think creatively, anticipate problems and opportunities, and develop vision for continuous improvementStrong leadership skills, consensus building capability, influencing skills and credibility with other functional areas; demonstrated ability to lead change in a complex organizationStrong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to quickly and positively influence all levels of the organizationAbility to work extra hours as needed to support the financial closeCore Competencies :
