Job Purpose
The University of Scranton’s Health Informatics program has an ongoing need for highly qualified part-time faculty to staff a variety of courses in Health Informatics.
Part-time faculty may instruct one or more courses each semester on an as needed basis. Essential Duties Part-time faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s);
prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades. Additional Skills Required Minimum Education Requirements A graduate degree in health informatics, information science, biomedical informatics or related field from a regionally-accredited institution.
Preferred Education Minimum Job Experience Requirements Previous teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling. Preferred Qualifications
