Environmental Health and Safety Professional
Must have five years of plant level, safety and environmental compliance within manufacturing operations, ideally in heavy industry, and a bachelor's degree in a technical field.
This position will be the sole EHS professional for the facility. Responsibilities include identifying existing and potential hazards, recommending corrective actions, and building a strong EHS culture for a 200 employee non-union plant. Must have experience knowing what "good looks like" and how to get there.
Experience with hazardous waste, wastewater (RCRA) and training plus leading safety through influence is required. Ability to roll out new initiatives, having a metric driven approach / utilizing key performance indicators in a manufacturing environment.
