The Role

As an Electrical Controls Technician at Xylem, you'll :

  • Inspect & Repair : Dive into the heart of our operations by disassembling, inspecting, and repairing field instruments and equipment systems.
  • Quality Assurance : Ensure products meet quality standards through meticulous calibrating and testing.
  • Troubleshoot & Innovate : Evaluate necessary modifications and tackle complex repairs with creativity.

Core Responsibilities

  • Follow workplace safety and product quality guidelines.
  • Program and troubleshoot equipment to meet quality standards.
  • Record and report equipment conditions and take corrective actions.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas.
  • Communicate effectively with customer staff.
  • Perform work according to equipment and safety procedures.
  • Follow programming logic and test electrical enclosures.

    • Qualifications

  • 5+ years in instrumentation and controls.
  • Certification / licensing per regulations.
  • Knowledge of physical standards : mass, temperature, flow, pressure.
  • Familiarity with the MS Office suite and ERP systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and P&ID diagrams.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Independent work capability and time management for multiple projects.
