Tenured/Tenure Track position in Educational Leadership - Assistant/Associate Professor
POSITION : TENURED / TENURE -TRACK POSITION - ASSISTANT / ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
LOCATION : EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP
The Department of Educational Leadership invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty appointment as assistant or associate professor commencing September 2024 to teach at New Jersey City University (NJCU) in the Deborah Cannon Partridge Wolfe College of Education.
Candidates should have an earned doctorate in Educational Leadership, with a concentration and extensive work in K-12 public schools.
Candidates should also be certified as a school principal and / or board superintendent in the State of New Jersey. Candidates should provide evidence of excellence in teaching and an active research agenda involving graduate students at an urban comprehensive university.
The successful applicant will be required to teach courses at the graduate level, help with course / program development, supervise students in the field, represent the department at the university and community level, and engage with the College of Education accreditation committee.
In addition, candidates will be expected to maintain an active and sustained research agenda in their respective field, with publications in peer-reviewed journals and presses.
Service to the university and beyond is also highly valued.
