Kingwood Pines Hospital :

Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116 bed facility located in the beautiful residential Kingwood community. We are located about 30 miles northeast of the Houston Medical Center.

The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. We serve children, adolescents, and adults for psychiatric and behavioral health.

The hospital also has services in intensive outpatient and partial hospital program services.

Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY :

Kingwood Pines Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Recreation Therapist - PRN . This position will be responsible for developing and providing therapeutic treatment plans for individuals and groups in concert with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

EXPERIENCE :

Requires a minimum of three (3) years' recreation expertise in an in-patient environment.

EDUCATION :

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Recreational Therapy.

CERTIFICATION :

Must possess a current Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) Certification.

CPR and HWC training must be completed prior to beginning work. Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire.

Must be available to work flexible hours, as needed.
