Pay Range : $35.21-$42.25
Paralegal
The Law Department is comprised of nearly twenty-five attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. The Department is a fast-paced environment with a dedicated and dynamic team of legal professionals who work on cutting edge questions of electricity law and regulation. The Paralegal II will work with attorneys and other legal support staff to provide a broad range of clerical, administrative, workflow, and project management duties to support PJM’s Law and Compliance Division.
The responsibilities will include conducting legal and factual research; preparing documents, exhibits, reports and filings; completing filings; activities related to drafting, processing, updating and filing tariff and tariff related agreements; assistance with drafting and processing service agreements and other legal documents; promoting tariff and regulatory compliance; and supporting legal proceedings.
The successful candidate will be meticulous and have a thorough knowledge of legal formalities, computer and technical knowledge as well as strong analytical, communication and organizational skills; and?should work well in fast-paced collaborative environments with competing demands. Prior legal experience preferred, but PJM is open to training a motivated candidate who is interested in pursuing a career in the energy / electricity industry.
