This is a consistent Full Time opportunity for a Physical Therapy Assistant to perform treatments in residential settings in the surrounding area.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the lives of patients by providing Physical therapy services in the comfort and convenience of their own homes.
You will also be a part of a team of professionals working together to meet the needs of patients and their families.
Clinicians are responsible for :
- Providing physical therapy treatments to individuals in their homes
- Monitoring patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educating patients and families on how to perform exercises and activities
- Maintaining patient records and document treatments
- Base rate : Up to $40 / visit
- Mileage reimbursement : .62 / mile
Requirements :
Home healthcare experience is recommended, but not required.
- Candidates must have MA Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant .
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while working with a variety of patients and medical professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, use a computer, including electronic medical records (EMR) systems
