The Pharmacy Learning Team is in search of a skilled business intelligence professional. We are dedicated to aggregating learning outcome metrics from diverse sources and communicating these valuable insights across our business units. As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, you will play a vital part in aligning training initiatives with company objectives, enhancing learning evaluation strategies, identifying key training outcomes, recognizing the need for additional interventions, and showcasing the value of our efforts within the organization. Your expertise will be essential in addressing complex business challenges through data analysis from both internal and external sources, providing actionable insights for decision-makers.

In this role, you will :

  • Analyze Learning Metrics : Review and refine our current and future learning metrics strategies to establish best practices.
  • Support Learning Content Development : Create resources such as templates and guides for the learning & development team, aimed at optimizing their development processes.
  • Conduct Data Collection and Audits : Gather learning metrics from previous classes, pinpoint performance gaps, develop insights concerning additional learning interventions, and support technology audits related to warehousing and visualization solutions in the Power Platform.
  • Track Key Performance Indicators : Monitor and evaluate training program metrics, correlate them with on-the-job statistics, and ascertain the impact of learning on business unit performance.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders : Work closely with stakeholders to report metrics gathered from their training program outcomes and plan for future interventions.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams : Partner with colleagues to devise comprehensive learning solutions.
  • Present Data Insights : Share insights and analysis with clients in an engaging manner.
  • Perform Other Duties : Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in a learning and development team, especially in learning design, learning analysis, or similar roles.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of technical experience in data analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced experience with large complex data sets within extensive organizations.
  • Adept at analyzing data to solve various business challenges and creating data visualizations that guide strategic direction.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare-related data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with senior and executive leadership.
  • Passionate about contributing to an organization that is committed to continuously enhancing consumer experiences.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in learning measurement.
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, economics, statistics, computer science, or engineering.
  • Familiarity with Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to use tools such as Power BI, SAS, MiniTab, or Tableau for data visualization tasks.
  • Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience creating analytics solutions across various healthcare sectors.
  • Experience with AI prompt engineering.
  • Travel : This is a remote position; however, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

    Scheduled Weekly Hours : 20

    Pay Range : The compensation range for this role reflects a good faith estimate for starting base pay based on full-time employment as of the posting date. Individual pay may vary based on geographic location, relevant skills, experience, education, and certifications.

    $89,000 - $121,400 per year.

    This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan, which depends on individual or company performance.
