Austin #LI-Remote / Sales / Full-time The Regional Sales Manager of Symmetry Systems will report to the VP Worldwide Sales and be responsible for building the territory via direct and channel sales, to all segments of the market.
This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help grow the business in a fast moving company with a compelling cloud data security product. Responsibilities
- Implement the company sales strategy to aggressively grow the business and build the territory.
- Prospect, qualify, develop, and close existing and new pipeline, directly.
- Work with company channel partners in all stages of the pipeline, from recruitment to ramped.
- Develop and execute sales plans for key accounts and channel partners. Drive opportunities at the strategic and tactical level.
- Work with marketing to qualify leads and to organize regional field events. Attend company events and tradeshows.
- Build the business and then recruit and manage field account reps, channel managers and inside personnel as required with the VP.
- Be capable of presenting and demonstrating the product, once ramped.
- Treat information learned as a company asset, take notes and transfer key field information internally. Offer suggestions for improvement.
Qualifications
- Located in the US, preferably New York, Texas, or Bay Area.
- Dynamic, high energy sales professional with ten or more years successful experience in direct sales for a software company.
- Experience selling enterprise level solutions in the security and / or data management markets.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed quarterly quota.
- Works well in a startup, if theres a french fry on the floor, picks it up, without slowing down.
