About The Position

Job Title : Operating Room Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 07 : 00 - 15 : 30

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in the Operating Room required

License : Compact or state license required at time of submission

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have :

• 2 years of experience in specialty
• Call coverage required, specifically late call
• Local travelers within a 75 mile radius are not accepted

Description :

Schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM.

Late call coverage will be required.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the Operating Room.

BLS certification is mandatory.

Patients will require a wide range of care.

Candidates may float within the facility or to nearby affiliate institutions.

Compliance with facility requirements is necessary.

Returning staff must be gone for 90 days to be eligible to return as a traveler.

Candidates should ensure they have no licensure hits for acceptance.

Potential candidates should confirm any previous employment at the facility during the submission process.

Call response time must be within one hour.

Weekend call will be divided into two separate shifts.

The weekend call begins Saturday morning and ends Monday morning.

All major holidays will be closed with no weekend requirement.

Modules will be billable and vary by specialty.

Candidates are expected to complete all required competencies during orientation.
