Downtown Buffalo, NY law firm is searching for a Paralegal on a full-time, direct hire basis. The selected candidate will be working on all aspects of litigation while supporting a team of attorneys.

The primary responsibilities of the position consist of the following tasks, but can change based on the firms needs :

File Management

Drafting pleadings and responding to document demands

Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing medical records

E-Filing pleadings and Motions

Trial preparation and support

Learn and assist each month with time and billing

Assist attorneys with designated tasks as needed

Successful candidates will be self-starters who possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and can manage their workload efficiently.

Job Requirements :

1+ years legal experience

Strong typing and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

Dependable, reliable, punctual and professional

Team player with a positive attitude

Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task

Strong interpersonal skills and highly team oriented

Willing to learn new things and adapt to change in workload based on firm needs
