Nuclear Engineer III or Senior Nuclear Engineer (Power Uprate Projects)
Depending upon the qualifications of the successful applicant, the hiring manager may elect to fill this position as a Sr. Engineer or Engineer III
Summary
This career / senior engineering role manages specialized work within the Nuclear Generation Department, supporting power uprate projects at Catawba, McGuire, and Brunswick. In addition to technical responsibilities, this position provides direct oversight and integration of supplemental engineers (including contract, vendor, and temporary staff) to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and in compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
Basic / Required Qualifications - Nuclear Engineer III

Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program. A Master's degree in engineering will be considered in lieu of the B. S. engineering degree.
Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience.
Basic / Required Qualifications - Senior Nuclear Engineer

Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program. A Master's degree in engineering will be considered in lieu of the B. S. engineering degree.
Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience or 5 years of engineering experience with state registration as a Professional Engineer.
